These are the times that try men’s souls.
Those, of course, are the words of Thomas Paine’s, “The American Crisis” also known as “Common Sense.” His words are just as relevant in today’s America as they were in 1775.
I’ll not sugar coat this message, for that would give you the impression there is much time for rescue. But rescue will not come should We the People continue to procrastinate, ignore and prostitute our Liberty as if it was a cheap harlot or commodity that can be bought and sold. Liberty is more precious than gold. Liberty comes from God and freedom comes from truth.
Although Liberty is a gift from God, it is always under attack. It required the blood and sacrifices of men and women of old, and requires the same today.
What are these symptoms?
Broken homes, drug addictions, our nation is now number one in human trafficking, we have an unsustainable national debt, suicide among our youth is escalating, gender dysphoria is praised. The belief in, and preference of heterosexual, monogamous relationships and marriage is considered racist. Our children are taught this nation is shameful. Leaders ignore and rebuke The Constitution of the United States of America and they believe the Bill of Rights is not absolute. The Democrat Party openly denies God; the murdering of babies in the womb is called a healthcare right; hard work and the American dream of opportunity is said to be racist. Our justice system has been tarnished by political hacks and there is no longer justice for the American people. The media is bought and paid for; they are there to serve the politicians and no longer even pretend to uphold truth and protect the people from corruption. Rule of Law and due process are denied to “political prisoners.” We have a congress and a nation full of “constitutional lawyers” who’d rather talk about injustice than fight for the oppressed. Media is censoring truth and opinions that do not coincide with political agendas. We are told good is evil and evil is good. Our children are being seduced by perverts and taught what to think, not how to think for themselves. It is an indoctrination away from Liberty. Life is no longer of any value. A woman is undefinable according to the Left and females no longer have their own sports or beauty pageants. Godlessness has brought chaos, crime and death to America.
America is in deep trouble. Our elected officials have served our enemies, received bribes from lobbyists, and exchanged our liberty for their agendas. No longer do the elected serve their constituents!
It is a tiresome predicament in which we now find ourselves. However, we must not be discouraged, and we absolutely must not allow ourselves to grow weary.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
It is easy to grow weary, to want to turn away and ignore the true crisis we are experiencing today in our nation. OUR AMERICA! Yes, it belongs to YOU, not to these leaders barking and legislating their jabberwocky. The elected officials and the media, unfortunately I’m including all media, have used their positions to prosper. Oh, how they all do profit from their jabberwocky-talky!
When you consume the “news” day in and day out as I do (…and I do not pretend to catch it all) it is completely tiring and overwhelming; it does wear on a person’s mind, soul, and spirit. Yes, it is even physically tiring.
Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
As I have said so many times, the answer to solving all of America’s problems is GOD! When the founders could not agree, after weeks and months of arguing about what form our new government should take, Ben Franklin told them that they ought to be in prayer just as they were each day during the revolutionary war.
Benjamin Franklin's Plea for Prayer
MR. PRESIDENT: "The small progress we have made, after four or five weeks’ close attendance and continual reasoning with each other, our different sentiments on almost every question, several of the last producing as many noes as ayes, is, methinks, a melancholy proof of the imperfection of the human understanding. We indeed seem to feel our own want of political wisdom, since we have been running all about in search of it. We have gone back to ancient history for models of government, and examined the different forms of those republics which, having been originally formed with the seeds of their own dissolution, now no longer exist; and we have viewed modern States all round Europe, but find none of their constitutions suitable to our circumstances.
In this situation of this assembly, groping, as it were, in the dark to find political truth, and scarce able to distinguish it when presented to us, how has it happened, sir, that we have not hitherto once thought of humbly applying to the Father of Lights to illuminate our understandings? In the beginning of the contest with Britain when we were sensible of danger, we had daily prayers in this room for the Divine protection. Our prayers, sir, were heard;--and they were graciously answered. All of us who were engaged in the struggle must have observed frequent instances of a superintending Providence in our favor. To that kind Providence we owe this happy opportunity of consulting in peace on the means of establishing our future national felicity. And have we now forgotten that powerful Friend? or do we imagine we no longer need its assistance? I have lived, sir, a long time; and the longer I live the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? We have been assured, sir, in the sacred writings, that “except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it.” I firmly believe this; and I also believe, that, without His concurring aid, we shall succeed in this political building no better than the builders of Babel; we shall be divided by our little, partial, local interests, our projects will be confounded, and we ourselves shall become a reproach and a by-word down to future ages. And what is worse, mankind may hereafter, from this unfortunate instance, despair of establishing government by human wisdom, and leave it to chance, war, and conquest. I therefore beg leave to move,--
That henceforth prayers, imploring the assistance of Heaven and its blessing on our deliberations, be held in this assembly every morning before we proceed to business; and that one or more of the clergy of this city be requested to officiate in that service.”

(1 Timothy 2:1-2) "First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way."
The “ritual” of prayer in the chambers of Congress continues today. But are their words just words without their hearts and souls connecting humbly before God? The truth of this was exposed; the prayers in the chamber today are nothing more than ritual and theater. Representative Emmanuel Cleaver, who is an ordained Methodist minister, closed his prayer to the House with “Amen and Awoman.” He explained that he meant this to be inclusive of men and women. Such a carnal and arrogant statement. His prayer certainly was not that of humility. Was he praying to God, or the chamber? “Amen” has nothing to do with the gender of human beings, it simply means “so be it.” However, in typical political fashion the congress of today has taken prayer to the Almighty and used it to make political statements. This minister of man, and not of God, was mocking God and that is a dangerous thing to do!
God, through His prophets warned Israel of such behavior, and I’m certain all His children are due this scolding.
Isaiah 1:11-17 KJV
To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? Saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of the goats. When ye come to appear before me, who that required this at your and, to tread my courts? Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
When we are comfortable we tend to forget to pray and we can certainly lack thankful hearts. Americans have compromised! We have forgotten our God and our purpose as a nation. We must again reach back into the scriptures and our founding documents!
Ephesians 6:11-12 KJV “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a] the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
The real state of the union today will not be spoken from our installed president Joseph R. Biden.
America is covered with a dark veil of evil!! God will not be mocked and it’s time for America to return to prayer and stand up for God’s righteousness and…
