Like most of you, I watched the President’s address to us on Saturday evening as he announced that the U.S. took out (hopefully completely) three of the Iranian nuclear sites. With this action, we are told that the world has changed.
I’m not trying to be a naysayer here but, the Iranians haven’t stopped firing missiles into Israel; targeting civilians, hospitals, schools, shopping malls, etc. The Iranians haven’t stopped making death threats, war threats, assassination threats against American leaders. We didn’t yet put an end to the hate Iran holds for Israel, America and most, if not all, the western nations or, specifically, Christians all around the globe.
As I was typing this, there is yet more Breaking News:
“Iran Says It Launched a Missile Attack on a U.S. Base in Qatar”
At this very hour, the U.S. has not yet made an official statement in regard to this alleged attack.
Hate seems to reign over the Middle East as all the other nations allow one bully to dictate to all the world a perception of hate to all those who are not “them.”
With President Trump in office, I feel we have a strong leader and a man who is looking out for all America. President Trump is a man who wants peace throughout the world. However, peace cannot come unless those involved truly want peace.
Has the world changed?
I believe a glimmer of hope has come to light in the hearts of those who want peace. People speak of Iran having or needing a regime change. I am told on one hand that the Iranians want their dictator leader gone; yet on the other hand, I see (perhaps it’s only Iranian propaganda) hundreds or thousands of the Iranian people on the streets of Iran screaming about death to Israel and death to America, which doesn’t really convey a want for a regime change, or for peace.
Can these people, who have been under a regime of strict religious and cultural control for nearly 50 years, remember the days when they, as a nation, had some freedom and prosperity? As it was, they traded one dictator for another, and their oppression became even greater and more dangerous; perhaps that is how they prefer to live.
Why can’t they live oppressed, if that’s what they want, and leave the rest of the world alone? Why is little Israel such a sandbur in their burqas? Their hate for Israel has nothing to do with anything Israel has done. Israel has very little land, (which I know their ownership of is of great contention to many in the Middle East) but it is a hate for the people and goes back in history to Biblical times. In their “radical religion” the Ayatollah believes Israel must be completely annihilated. Their god asks them to destroy and kill all of the Jewish people, and then they must also kill all Christians. Not understanding Christianity, in their twisted way of thinking, they believe all the western nations are Christian and all must be annihilated, exterminated, irradicated from the face of the earth. While their god demands they kill for him, our God, who died for our sins, only asks that we believe and LIVE for Him. There is no room or want for peace in the hearts of the Iranians, who harbor such hate in their beings.
I don’t know the answers.
First and foremost, I trust in my God and my Savior!
Secondly, I trust President Trump. Our President needs our prayers. I heard the emotion in President Trump’s voice Saturday evening. After giving the Ayatollah numerous opportunities to negotiate and do what is best for his people, he (the Ayatollah) chose to continue the war against Israel and the death threats against Americans. Besides death to all Americans, the Ayatollah called for the assassination of President Trump, Secretary Marco Rubio, VP J.D. Vance, John Bolten, and former Secretary Mike Pompeo, as well as other American leaders. President Trump did what had to be done, after the Ayatollah refused to come to the table and negotiate peace.
Thirdly, I confess I do not trust our Congress in America. Throughout the decades they have led us into never-ending wars, they are responsible for the open border crisis, and they continue to battle President Trump on nearly every issue.
There seems to be no apparent diplomatic way to peace when a heart is full of hate. There seems to be no changing of the heart of the radical Islamic Ayatollah.
What’s next?
There are many claiming a third world war. I’m praying we can avoid that, as we have a Commander in Chief who is strong and prefers peace. Peace will only come through strength, and President Trump is a strong leader for America.
“For Such a time as this” God has placed President Donald Trump as the leader of the free world. When President Trump spoke Saturday night, he mentioned loving God… and that meant a lot to me!
Americans must acknowledge God, and spend some serious time on our knees.
Oh God,
May America once again be Your Beacon of Love and Salvation to all the world, and truly change the world for Your Glory!
Amen
The World Has Changed They Say…
God Bless America, God Bless and guide President Trump… God Bless Israel, and God please… Bring America Home, Home to God, Family and Country.
