WHY ARE YOU CRYING SON? by Beth Ann - 11-8-2024 Why are you crying son? Is it such a fearful thing To Make America Great Again? Are all your hired hands Illegal aliens? Have you not felt the sting Of inflation’s higher pricing? Why are you crying son? The democracy you shouted to save Is nothing more than a bureaucratic enclave, Stripping the American dream, Trading our rights for radical schemes. Is your heart hardened and cold For all those murdered young souls? Why are you crying daughter? Is your body your choice Recognized only for killing unborn babies? Did your body have a choice Before this new life was created? Why are you crying daughter? Did you lose an athletic scholarship To a boy who calls himself Sue, Claiming his larger-than-life anatomy Is just the same as you? Are you crying for loss of amnesty For all the illegal aliens, Or are you crying for the hundreds of thousands Now captured in human trafficking? Why are you crying dear ones For an election that was lost? Was it not the “democracy” you wanted … you said, “at any cost?” I understand disappointment, I understand regrets. But all this crying seems Representative of a false allegiance. Your tears flow for a political party And seem redundant to say the least. The party you favored and lied for Is a totalitarian-bureaucratic beast. You know not the Constitution, You ignore the Bill of Rights. So what is it that you cry for, Lost political party and pride? Your tears are for yourself! You have abandoned God and country, Leaving you quite empty Unable to see blessings aplenty. You cry not for Liberty, Your tears are not for me! You have sacrificed nothing To make America Free. Why are you crying son? Why are you crying daughter? It seems a bit hyperbole Tears for a despised country. Fake compassion does not hide The animosity you hold inside. You have the right to cry. You have the right to speak. Because millions of Americans Voted for the American Dream. Make America Great Again Is not a slogan to fear. Embrace the possibilities, For they are rich and sincere. Bring America Home©
