…. And So, I Threw My Stapler On The Floor!
This blatant corruption in our government is the jam in the stapler of Liberty.
I’m not necessarily prone to throwing fits, but sometimes that just might be the only alternative.
I have a well-used stapler that wasn’t doing its job. It seemed as though it was corrupted by a staple, or piece of one, which was stuck and obstructing the inside of this stapler. We worked on it for days on end but could not find a bent or broken staple inside this now useless stapler.
There must have been a foreign object in the stapler, even if it was a piece of a staple, that was keeping it from performing its duty properly. Every staple that it stapled was bent and twisted, and the execution was difficult. That had to be the problem, but alas, we were unable to find it.
I thought to myself, “What caused this brokenness?” Could it have been an accidental droppage on the floor? After several days of “fussing” over this partially jammed stapler, it dawned on me (not in anger but perhaps desperation…) If dropping caused the brokenness…then… well, I’ll just throw this stapler on the floor.
And so I did!! VOILA! It’s been several weeks now, and the stapler is still working perfectly.
Perhaps this is a somewhat crazy analogy, but the corruption-obstruction had to be removed by force! Again, I was not angry when I threw that stapler on the floor, I even announced what I was about to do!
“When once a Republic is corrupted, there is no possibility of remedying any of the growing evils but by removing the corruption and restoring its lost principles; every other correction is either useless or a new evil.”
Thomas Jefferson
While the media and the politicians continue to tell us that we are a democracy; that is a gaslighting term. Like a jam in the stapler, this lie must be removed. While it is somewhat a “pleasant” thought, I can’t pick up the nation’s DC Occupiers and throw them on the floor; we can, however, remove them from office and then begin the restoration of our once great Constitutional Republic.
We must remove the corruption! This will not be as easy as throwing the stapler on the floor. It will take time and shrewd, cunning planning. It will demand vigilance and perseverance. It will take personal action, getting involved; something many Americans dread more than a tooth extraction. If we are to save a nation and preserve Liberty for our children and grandchildren, we must do that which might seem impossible. Yet it is obvious! Stop relying on politicians to ever do the “right” thing by our Constitution and start taking back our country.
Removing the corruption might seem to be an impossible task. The DC Occupiers are in their offices cuttin’ deals; deals that restrict our Liberty and regulate our way of life. They believe themselves quite shrewd, as they ignore the Constitution. With devilish intent, they try to make vital election changes by throwing words of amendment regarding the electoral college process in Presidential elections, into an omnibus spending bill. I’m no Constitutional scholar but I do not believe this is a proper “Constitutional” procedure of change.
Thanks to Elon Musk, we now know that the current administration WAS working with social media (Twitter) to hide criminal evidence of installed president Biden and his son’s business dealings with foreign powers, which have greatly compromised America’s national security. They didn’t stop there, they continued to gaslight the American people with even more lies. Lies of Covid and “proper” treatments; lies regarding President Donald J. Trump and lies regarding the 2020 election. We know that the bureaucratic offices of the FBI and CIA were not just involved, but leading the way with these deceptions.
This blatant corruption in our government is the jam in the stapler of Liberty.
I am optimistic because I believe in the American people. When we are given TRUTH, we can make wise decisions. I also believe that the task before us; restoring our republic, will be more difficult than that of our Founding Fathers when they created the “great experiment” of We the People governing ourselves (Consent of the governed). They left to us “the way,” in the Constitution of the United States of America. We must read and study this document and equip ourselves with the knowledge of our rights. Rights from God not from government!
Our Founding Fathers never wanted or intended for this nation to be run by a two party-political system; it was bound for corruption. It has far exceeded that! It is a monopoly of power. We’ve seen this time and time again. I had to ask myself today: “Who owns these parties?”
“However [political parties] may now-and-then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.” GEORGE WASHINGTON, Farewell Address, September 19, 1796
“There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.” JOHN ADAMS, letter to Jonathan Jackson, October 2, 1789
“The bosses of the Democratic party and the bosses of the Republican party alike have a closer grip than ever before on the party machines in the States and in the Nation. This crooked control of both the old parties by the beneficiaries of political and business privilege renders it hopeless to expect any far-reaching and fundamental service from either.” THEODORE ROOSEVELT, The Outlook, July 27, 1912
“They” hated President Theodore Roosevelt as much as “They” hate President Donald J. Trump!
This Uniparty, two-party monopoly (what a joke when they say bipartisan) system is the broken and jammed stapler of our Nation; it robs us of Liberty and makes crooked our God Given Rights.
The chance of me fixing a broken stapler by throwing it on the floor was relatively slim, but what did I have to lose… it wasn’t working anyway!
It’s time to remove the corruption that is obstructing America’s Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, Property and Prosperity.
I must remind us all, that the dusty Bible and the dusty documents left on a shelf gain us no Liberty.
Dust off your Bible, take up your cross and stand for Christ and His Righteousness.
Study the documents given to us by our Founding Fathers and take up your courage, stand for Liberty….
…And Bring America Home©
Beth Ann,
Good article, however, they hated Teddy Roosevelt and for the reason you state, but what did Teddy Roosevelt want? He was foundationally a socialist, and was in my opinion the worst President of the 20th century because he gave credibility to the "progressive" movement.
Socialism is foundationally atheistic, and it was in his day, and that didn’t play well in America, so they called themselves progressives to disguise who and what they really were. They made a conscious decision to deliberately deceive America, and Teddy Roosevelt had to know.
Both he and America's first fascist president, Woodrow Wilson, subscribed to the concept, “L'État, c'est moi”, I am the state, and both believed the Constitution was and impediment to human progress.
Roosevelt and Wilson led the way to where we are now. So, what he wanted was to change who had the power and control, not end it. Roosevelt has been inappropriately iconofied politically. He was smart, he was an intellectual, he was arrogant, and he, just as his cousin Franklin, passed laws dealing with changing the nation's economy, and both were economic illiterates who wasted their inheritances on amazingly bad investments.
