Weekend Wisdom: The Two-Party System Is Ruining America
The “two-party-monopoly” is doing the bidding of the permanent government system that has seized control of America.

We have been accepting of this two-party system for a long time in America. While we have a few other parties, they are never given the respect and opportunity to compete in the political arena. The Democrat party and the Republican party have a strangle hold on, and monopoly in American politics. In my opinion they serve the party and not the people.
In his farewell address of September 17, 1796, George Washington warned America regarding the negative impact that opposing political parties could have on this new nation. During his presidency he witnessed the rise of the Democratic-Republican party in opposition to the Federalists and worried that future political squabbles would undermine the concept of popular sovereignty in the United States.
"However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion." George Washington
In the long history of the United States, only one president, George Washington, did not represent a political party.
Did you know: The Constitution that Washington helped draft in 1787, the Constitution our government still operates under today, makes no mention of political parties, and it clearly did not anticipate them. As originally ratified, the United States Constitution declared that the second-place vote getter in the presidential election would serve as vice president. It was not until 1804, with the ratification of the Twelfth Amendment, that this changed.
Political parties as we know them today began to take shape while Washington was in office. By 1793 or 1794 there was an emerging split between two distinct visions for the future of the country. Groups calling themselves Democratic Republican Societies began to appear in cities around the nation. They would form the nucleus of a formal, concerted opposition party, something that frightened many people, including Washington.

“There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.” John Adams
“I tolerate with the utmost latitude the right of others to differ from me in opinion without imputing to them criminality. Both of our political parties, at least the honest portion of them, agree conscientiously in the same object—the public good; but they differ essentially in what they deem the means of promoting that good.” Thomas Jefferson
I do not believe that what Thomas Jefferson thought back then can be held as truth today. I once believed that the parties had the same objective and just different ideas on how to achieve that objective. One would hope that objective would be to protect the rights and liberties of the people they serve. I no longer see this to be true. The democrat party has made it clear that they absolutely hate America and the Constitution for which they were elected to protect and uphold. The Republican party seems to be full of weak and wishy-washy characters who fear the other party, and so while they might make a show of their opposition, they never finish the job of restraining or stopping the infractions put upon We the People.
Maybe it’s because the world has grown smaller (communication) as our nation’s government has grown larger, but for whatever reason, our two-party system seems to be full of globalists. Our elected representatives are more concerned about world governance than they are focused on our Constitutional Republic as a sovereign nation.
We are a nation that is being led by men and women who no longer have our best interests at heart.
I have said on my radio program many times that it’s time to vote every single democrat out of office, from the local level on up! I said this because of their open denial and hatred of God and their openness to defy our Constitution and Bill of Rights. We will be left with republican representatives who can no longer hide behind the dirt-scandals and corruption of the democrats, they will have to stand on their own. At this point they will know that We the People are willing to end their career as well.
Former President Donald Trump is running for president on the republican ticket; however, I do not feel that he is a devoted representative of the true RNC.
If the Republican party was a party for the people and our Constitutional Republic, every single one of them would get behind Donald Trump now. They should make sure he is elected without any doubt of fraud in the 2024 election.
The late Derry Brownfield used to say that if you vote for the lesser of two evils, you’re still voting for evil. I have said in the past to vote for the person and not the party. Today, I believe the parties control the person, except for Donald J. Trump. They were not able to control this outsider!
I believe, that very much like George Washington, Donald J. Trump does NOT represent a party, Donald Trump is standing for We the People. Every time “they” indict this man, every time “they” curse this man, imagine “they” are indicting and cursing you… because “they” are!
The political parties in America have grown in power and wealth. They all believe themselves above the average everyday American! They are not!!
While these parties might receive their “donations” from wealthier sources than We the People, they still need our votes come election day. I do suggest we no longer donate our personal dollars to the party but to the individual candidate. The American people need to put the elected officials on notice; We the People will no longer accept last place.
Think about the warning words of President George Washington, of John Adams and the words of Thomas Jefferson. I believe the “two-party-monopoly” is doing the bidding of the permanent government system that has seized control of America.
There is no party that will fix the many crises they have caused America. There is no one person who can restore our Constitutional Republic. The future of America lies upon the shoulders of We the People… Bring America Home©

Beth Ann, The two party Tyranny, is due to the "Hamilton Innovation of 1796" where the 2 June 1787 Delegate James Wilson, later first Justice, Plan for State Appointment of Presidential Electors by Popular Vote within State defined districts, not a State-wide "district" as is done with the "Take All" plan begun in 1796 for Hamilton to defeat his arch-rival Thomas Jefferson.
Beth Ann, Again, thank you for your wise words. One bone to pick, Jefferson, Madison, and Burr did NOT form the "Democratic Republican Party", they formed the Republican Party. The term "Democratic Republican Party" is not to be found in the writings of either Madison or Jefferson, that is a false construct of the Academia and Media to give legitimacy to the current day Democrat Party, that could be called the Demoncrat Party, because it is Demonic to kill babies in the womb (or outside the womb as Democrat former Governor of Virginia "Dr". Ralph Northam revealed he has done.)
